History of the Guild
Although the Guild has only recently been established in it's current form, the roots of the Guild stretch far and wide. Without the labor of others, the concept of the Guild and what it hopes to achieve would not be able to become a reality. Although there are countless people to thank from within our own community, the name of the Folk Music Guild was borrowed from a small college in southern New Hampshire.

As such, we are indebted to The Saint John Ogilvie Folk Music Guild at Thomas More College for their influence in spreading of folk music and their goal of uniting the community in song. The Folk Music Guild hopes to continue that legacy and soon be able to connect multiple communities over a mutual appreciation of great music.
